Thursday, April 22nd
Today was a beautiful day. We were visiting our friends, Carol and Phil,where we used to live in Ormond Beach. The only thing hard for us is to see how the people that bought our house have let it go. The yard is in terrible shape…can only imagine what the inside looks like……
We went to lunch at one of our favorite spots….Inlet Harbor. This is Charlie with our friends. We enjoyed a few appetizers but it was the pitchers of beer that we enjoyed the most!!!!
Tonight we had dinner at the Top of Daytona. We took our other neighbor, Norm Berge to dinner. He is a wonderful neighbor and we were so glad we got to spend some time with him. Norm is Norwegian and he gave us some tips about what we should see in Oslo.
Friday, April 23rd
We left Ormond Beach very early and stopped in Vero beach for breakfast. Mary and Ed Dustman met us at the Cracker Barrel. Then it was on to Total Wine to stock up on wine for the cruise. We are now at the Cambria Suites..the rental car has been returned and we are going to meet some fellow cruisers for drinks at 5PM. Rich and Delia do not fly in until the morning so we won’t see them until we get on the ship. All in all, we have had a very nice time and can’t wait for tomorrow to start our next adventure……..
